HOW TO ACCESS SDTF CO-FUNDING
Once a training provider has designed and prepared a training course that meets the SDTF criteria, the training provider should contact the provincial secretariat in their province for further assistance.
The SDTF encourages training providers already active in the field of non-formal skills training, as well as those wishing to become active in delivering approved training, to apply for funds stating:
The immediate beneficiaries of their training courses in terms of age, gender, numbers and location;
The objectives of the proposed training including the range and level of skills to be delivered and firm evidence of training need;
Expected outcome of training in terms of potential income generation;
Delivery modalities including numbers and types of trainers;
Training venue and necessary tools or materials;
Evidence of how assessment and monitoring progress will be achieved;
Details of all costs including unit costs;
Details of post-training evaluation to measure effectiveness of training and contribution of training to income generation.
If you have experience in developing and delivering short courses, filling out the application will be easy as the SDTF is asking for information that you should already have.
Each submitted application for funding must be accompanied by:
Completed application form and related training course material
CV of the instructors
An itemized budget
Pre-tracer form filled out for each course participant
